“Ebbs & Flows: Currents of Change in Preston County” explores change in Preston County through the themes of land, identity, community, and perseverance. By reflecting on the past, Preston County can better navigate the present and chart a course for a bright future.
This free exhibition is spending the summer traveling throughout Preston County but will also be on display at the New Deal Festival! Learn about the history of Preston County and how Arthurdale fits into this corner of West Virginia while visiting the festival.
This exhibition is an extension of “Crossroads: Change in Rural America,” a Smithsonian Museum on Main Street exhibition. It is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
