Support the New Deal Festival and Get Free Admission!
We need your help before, during, and after the New Deal Festival!
Please fill out our volunteer application if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer for our New Deal Festival on July 13th. Volunteering entitles you to FREE entry for the Festival events, including live music, craft show, car show, and so much more!
As volunteers sign up, AHI staff will schedule them on a first-come-first-served basis. You will be notified of your time slot and position by AHI staff.
Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available–volunteer when your schedule allows. For students or others in need of volunteer hours for a program, let us know, and one of our staff will provide certification of your hours.

Ways to Help
- Set up crew – Help us get ready on the day of the festival or leading up to it
- Parking – Possibly the most important job! Guide people to parking spots
- Gate Attendant – Take admission and count visitors
- Information Booth – Hand out maps, answer questions, etc.
- Museum docent – Answer questions in the museum buildings
- Beer Tent – Checking IDs and serving beer (21+ ONLY)
- Hayride – Supervise riders, take money, etc.
- Kids Area – Great for those with lots of energy or those without any: You can help run kids contests and games or just supervise and do crafts
- Clean up crew – Give our tired staff a break and help us put things away
- Data Collection (Surveys)
